The Process

I aim to make portraits that look like you – and aren’t a big production to create. Just you, me, and my trusted camera. The less makeup, the better. We'll talk and hang out in the studio, or in the field, and I'll take photos as they present themselves. I aim for minimal posing, which might feel a bit uncomfortable - at first! Once we get into a groove, the photographs will follow.

Step 01

Booking

Shoot me a message through my contact page to let me know what I can do for you.We’ll schedule a call. You can ask me questions to make sure that I’m someone you’d be comfortable with around your team/athlete. We’ll also talk about what you'd like and figure how I can best serve your team/athleteLet me know what you decide. You don’t have to make a decision during our call – discuss it with your team/athlete and send a quick note to let me know whether or not you’d love to work with me.To book, you’ll sign a session agreement and pay a retainer. I will send you both the agreement and the invoice electronically. The retainer counts towards your session package.

Step 02

Session

What you wear matters. To make the best of this, your team/athlete should dress as if it were a game day. This creates some authenticity and really makes the images pop.Just be yourself. I will guide you through the poses, but it's great if your athlete has their own style and wants to incorporate that into the session. It helps bring out their personality for a great looking photos.

We'll talk and hang out, and I'll take photos/video as they present themselves. Each session can take 2-3 hours, giving us time to get capture all the creative photos we can get..

Bring your ideas. If you have a specific idea for a photo we can explore that as well.

Step 03

Photos

You’ll get a link to your online gallery within 2-4 weeks. (The delivery time may be longer for full day sessions) You can buy prints or photo books beyond the package you’ve purchased through the gallery store. Up front payments are discussed during Step 1.I can’t wait to hear your reaction about your photos! I check my email every seventeen seconds after I’ve sent pictures to a client(Jokes of course, kind of ;). I do pour so much love into the pictures, hoping they make you as happy as they make me.Let me know if there are images you do not wish to be shared online. You can mark these images in your online gallery.Reviews and referrals are important. Reviews and referrals are a great way to support my small business and they are appreciated.Until next time!.
